APACHE - Association Pour l'Amélioration des Conditions d'Hospitalisation des Enfants (Association to improve the condition of hospitalised children)

APACHE was created in 1982. It brings together professionals from the sectors of health, education or childhood and parents who believe that a hospitalised child has rights and specific needs, which are essential to respect. The organisation aims at making the behaviour of both the general public and the professionals change towards the hospitalised child. The different means used are awareness raising, diffusion of information and experiences, organisation of events and training. APACHE base its action on the principles stated in the "charter of the hospitalised child". It places the hospitalised children needs and their rights at the centre of the hospital staff and families preoccupations.
