The European Social Action Network – ESAN was created in 1991 and works at the level of the European Union institutions to achieve a greater balance between a developed economy and a high level social policy.
For this purpose, it encourages the exchange of experience at the grass-root level in Europe and co-operation between all the actors.
The achievement of these objectives implies the participation of everyone.

From you from the voluntary sector, from institutions working in the social field, we need:

• Your own social expertise, following your own specificities
• Your own evaluation of the population needs and expectations in term of living conditions and quality of life, and so in their local environment as well as in the European Union

By combining our efforts, together, we will guarantee ethical and social demands for those we are the spokesperson.
To call out the European decision-makers and to manage to make the social field heard, we need to be as many of us as possible. Only this way we could have a decisive influence on the European social policy-making, on its implementation and evaluation.

TOGETHER, let's make Europe everybody's business!

Let's build a Europe concerned by the future of its kids and young people, respectful of the dignity of every human being, of their culture and freedom, let us build a caring and thriving Europe based on solidarity.
